Abstract

A recently published Greek altar-inscription from Asia Minor with the dedication most probably is to be regarded, on the basis of the terminology used (especially ), as an inscription of a so-called Godfearer, , a pagan sympathizer with Judaism, who erected this private altar for the God of Israel.
