Aims & scope
AUP has a well-established publication programme in Asian Studies, renowned for its solid source-based publications in the history, religion, politics, migration, and culture in Asia.
The Asian Studies programme is strengthened by a number of book and conference series, focusing on a special topic or an area of study, as well as a strong collaboration with the International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS), a Humanities and Social Sciences institute and knowledge exchange platform based in the Netherlands.

Aims & scope
The proceedings series ‘History, Culture, and Heritage’ aims to publish proceedings from conferences on history from late antique, medieval, and early modern European history to broader cultural heritage and contemporary studies, including topics such as memory studies, conflict, war and genocide in strong collaboration with the The Amsterdam School for Heritage, Memory and Material Culture (AHM) under the editorship of Prof. Ihab Saloul. All proceedings include peer-reviewed full-length articles.
