Affiliations: ¹ Boris Demarest is doctoraatstudent aan de Universiteit Gent, verbonden aan het centrum voor kritische filosofie. Hij finaliseert een doctoraatsverhandeling over de relatie tussen de epistemologie en de filosofie van de biologie van Immanuel Kant. ² Joris Van Poucke is onderzoeker en lector aan de Hogeschool Gent, faculteit Mens en Welzijn. Zijn onderzoek in de filosofie situeert zich voornamelijk op het snijpunt tussen complexiteit, levende systemen en kritische filosofie. ³ Gertrudis Van de Vijver is Gewoon Hoogleraar aan de Universiteit Gent, hoofd van het Centrum voor Kritische Filosofie. Zij onderzoekt epistemologisch de eigenheid van complexe dynamische structuren, zowel vanuit biologisch als psychodynamisch oogpunt.
